Volby do Europarlamentu skončily s rekordní volební neúčastí. Podle povolební mapy Evropy pouze u nás a na sousedním Slovensku byla účast na hranici dvaceti procent. Zbytek Evropy volil o něco zodpovědněji. Výsledek voleb je pro někoho možná překvapením, možná zklamáním, ale většině lidí je to asi jedno. I tak je ale potřeba zmínit úspěch TOP 09, která se v těchto volbách dotáhla na vedoucí ANO a rozhodně si zaslouží zmínit i Svobodní, kteří překročili oněch magických pět procent. Jak to tedy vypadalo přímo tady?
Volební účast v Blansku a v Rájci – Jestřebí se v průměru pohybuje kolem 19,7 procent, přičemž počet platných hlasů se nevyšplhal ani na čtyři tisíce. Největší úspěch v Blansku zaznamenala ČSSD spolu s KSČM, v Rájci to byla KDU. Co ale za tak nízkou volební účastí stojí?

Bohužel mediální obraz je spíš takový, že se řeší správné zakřivení banánů než budoucnost Evropy. To pak vzbuzuje v lidech nezájem o dění v Evropském měřítku.
