Turnaje pořádaného organizací BISFed za podpory polského města Poznaň se zúčastnilo celkem 143 sportovců ze 31 zemí. Kamil ve své kategorii BC3 skončil na 13. místě ze 48 světových závodníků, což mu vyneslo tolik potřebné kvalifikační body.
„Z výsledku jsem celkem spokojený. Sice můj původní cíl před turnajem byl umístit se mezi nejlepších 8 závodníků, ale i tak jsem se 13. místem spokojen, zvláště v této světové konkurenci,“ prohlásil Kamil po skončení závodu.
Kamil Vašíček bude mít už jen jednu možnost získat další body pro kvalifikaci na paralympiádu v Riu 2016, a to na mistrovství světa, které se bude konat stejně jako v loňském roce v čínském Pekingu.
Kamilův tým tak i letos shání finance na Kamilovu účast na závodě.
